Tianshui Hantang Maiji Mountain Artistic Pottery & Porcelain Co. Ltd., one of the National Cultural Industry Demonstrative Base, is a multifunctional cultural industry enterprise which includes art research, development of culture and tourism, art education, cultural works of art, production and marketing of handcraft articles, etc. They are Maiji Mountain sculpture, mural paintings, ancient painted pottery and folk handcraft articles; altogether there are more than 200 kinds here. These reproductions have won over 50 awards among various exhibitions, fairs, and meeting. They are popular among the Central Government leaders, artists and scholars. In 2005, Tianshui Hantang Maiji Mountain Artistic Pottery & Porcelain Co. Ltd was named as a Gansu Provincial Culture Industry Demonstrative Base by the Department of Culture. In 2006, it was named as National Cultural Industry Demonstrative Base. Now, the company works as a teaching base for universities and colleges such as Central Institute of Fine Arts, Fine Arts School of Yanshan University, Luxun Arts College, Shanghai Fine Arts Institute, Tianshui Normal College, Xi’an Fine Arts Institute.
