On May 30th, 2014,the unveiling ceremony for a bronze sculpture of Dr Bethune was held in the University of Toronto. From left: Mr. David Pellettier, who made the sculpture; Ms. Adrienne Clarkson, former Governor General of Canada; Mr. Zhang Bin and Mr. Niu Gensheng,the sculpture';;;;s fiancial donors; Mr. Michael Wilson, Chancellor of the University of Toronto; Ms. Catharine Whiteside, Dean of the faculty of Medicine; Mr. Meric Gertler, President of the University of Toronto; and Mr. David Price, a member of the Bethune family, attended the unveiling ceremony.
