On May 16th, 2014, China Cultural Industry Delegation attended the fist Cultural Industries of the South Expo (MICSUR) in Mar del Plata, Argentina. While attending MICSUR, CCIA delegation proposed the initiative of jointly promoting cultural industry exchange and collaboration between China and South American countries, which has received overwhelmingly positive response from participating 10 countries including Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Venezuela and Colombia, etc.

Ms. Teresa Sellares, the Cultural Minister of Argentina expressed hope that the establishment of cooperation mechanism in cultural industry will spur the exchange and development in the cultural industry between China and ten South American countries.
