On August 12th, 2014, President Zhang Bin and Consultant Niu Gensheng of China Cultural Industry Association visited Mr. Tung Chee-hwa, Vice-President of the CPPCC and former Chief Executive of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region in Hong Kong. They held talks on the preparation of establishing Hong Kong Cultural Industry Federation and the work of promoting China’s cultural industry "going out" etc.

Around the topic of bringing Hong Kong’s superiority into full play and enhancing China cultural industry’s influence in the world, Mr. Tung Chee-hwa expressed his appreciation and support to the establishment of Hong Kong Cultural Industry Federation. He also exchanged views with China Cultural Industry Association Delegation on the issues of realizing the "Chinese Dream" of Chinese nation’s great rejuvenation, further strengthening the cultural cooperation and contact between Mainland and Hong Kong so as to jointly promote China cultural industry’s moving towards the world.
